Before these last days
Before times past
Even before in the beginning
Before all time last,
The Son to His Father said
And said the Father of His Son:
God, O God, the Only One.
 
And to that mysterious end
We must run the race
Headlong onward, upward
The Most Holy Place,
Believing He is
And forever They are:
God from God, not so far.
